About the Blog
Welcome to Stacks of Sarah, a blog dedicated to any and all things literature, including reviews, bookish ramblings and other general plot twists I have to share with you from this chapter of my life!
As an avid reader and self-confessed bookaholic, this is really just one big melting pot for my thoughts and opinions on the books I both liked and disliked, and hopefully a great place to pick up fresh book recommendations from fellow readers.
Do take the time to follow, like and comment – I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you for visiting!

About the Blogger
Name: Sarah – if you look really carefully there’s a clue to that little detail in the title of this blog. Currently playing the role of gap year student, applying for jobs and biding my time until university.
Favourite Book(s): Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus; quite honestly anything written by Rick Riordan brings a smile to my face. Also, I suffer from a borderline obsession with George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and the Netflix original series Sense8.
Top Procrastination Techniques: Reading, writing, watching TV shows and agonizing over the plights of fictional characters.
Fun Facts: 1) is officially the smallest in her year at sixth form at a measly 4 ft 10 inches; 2) cannot function without bacon at least once a fortnight; 3) likes Shakespeare so much she has a poster featuring a timeline and chronological depiction of all of his plays hanging over her bed. 4) if I’m ever lacking inspiration when writing, I like to think of this quote:
I write to give myself strength. I write to be the characters that I am not. I write to explore all the things I’m afraid of.
